At least 50 dead in three Nigeria church bombings

Abuja, Nigeria (CNN) -- Three church bombings and retaliatory attacks in northern Nigeria killed at least 50 people Sunday and injured more than 130 others, the Nigerian Red Cross Society said.
The series of attacks began when a suicide bomber drove at high speed through a barricade at the EWCA Goodnews Wusasa Zaria church around 9 a.m., congregation member Lucy Bello said. That blast left at least 24 people dead and 125 injured, some in critical condition, according to a Kaduna state government official who asked to remain anonymous because he was not authorized to speak to the media.
The Nigerian Red Cross Society, however, reported that two people were killed and 22 injured in the attack. Bello, who had bruises from the explosion, said the dead and wounded were thrown to the ground by the blast.
Within minutes, another explosion occurred at the Christ the King Catholic Church in Zaria, according to the National Emergency Management Agency. At least 10 people were killed in that attack and more than 50 were injured, the state government official said.
Again, the Nigerian Red Cross Society offered a conflicting report, saying that 16 people were killed and 31 injured in that attack. Later, at least 10 people were killed in a bombing at a church in the city of Kaduna, Red Cross spokesman Andronicus Adeyemo said.
Christian youths in Zaria and Kaduna reacted violently, burning tires and blocking major roads. The Kaduna state government imposed a 24-hour curfew.
Thirty-two people were killed and 78 injured in the third blast, including victims of the reprisal attacks, the Nigerian Red Cross Society said.
The bombings are the latest in a string of violence directed at churches. A week ago, a car bomb killed five people during services at a church in Jos, also in northern Nigeria. Angry crowds wielding makeshift clubs fought with police after chasing security forces away from the destroyed church. Three more people died in the clashes.
And two weeks ago, two church bombings in the region killed at least 15 people.
No one immediately took responsibility for Sunday's attacks, though Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan suggested they were the work of Boko Haram, a militant Islamist group. "We will not let Boko Haram intimidate our Christian community or police officers. We will fight these terrorists until there are none left," he wrote on Twitter page Sunday. Boko Haram has previously carried out attacks, including at churches. The group also refers to itself as the "Nigerian Taliban" and seeks to overthrow the government and replace it with a regime based on Islamic law.
"Boko Haram" means "Western education is forbidden."

Most Israelis support 'settlements'! Do you?

Our Comment: "They" are the Jews/Israel in these verses. What have the ´palestinians´, arabs, muslims, islamics, jihadists, koranics, socialists, leftists, world-rulers, to say or do about/against this Word of the Lord? If they´ll keep fighting, going against, this promise/word, they´ll are not fighting the Jewish people nor Israel; but they are figthing against the God of Israel (the Lord Yeshua) Himself!

Israeli Scientists have grown human bone from stem cells in a laboratory.
Dr Shai Meretzki, chief executive of Bonus BioGroup, with the human bones grown from stem cellsThe development opens the way for patients to have broken bones repaired or even replaced with entire new ones grown outside the body from a patient's own cells.
The researchers started with stem cells taken from fat tissue. It took around a month to grow them into sections of fully-formed living human bone up to a couple of inches long.
The first trial in patients is on course to be conducted later this year, by an Israeli biotechnology company that has been working with academics on the technology.
Professor Avinoam Kadouri, head of the scientific advisory board for Bonus BioGroup, said: "There is a need for artificial bones for injuries and in operations.
"We use three dimensional structures to fabricate the bone in the right shape and geometry. We can grow these bones outside the body and then transplant it to the patient at the right time.
"By scanning the damaged bone area, the implant should fit perfectly and merge with the surrounding tissue. There are no problems with rejection as the cells come from the patient's own body."
The technology, which has been developed along with researchers at the Technion Institute of Research in Israel, uses three dimensional scans of the damaged bone to build a gel-like scaffold that matches the shape.
Stem cells, known as mesenchymal stem cells, which have the capacity to develop into many other types of cell in the body, are obtained from the patient's fat using liposuction.

Egyptische Moslimbroederschap: Jeruzalem (Al-Quds) wordt hoofdstad Egypte en van Kalifaat
Wanneer de kandidaat van de Moslimbroederschap de presidentsverkiezingen wint zou Jeruzalem de nieuwe hoofdstad van Egypte worden, zegt een prominente Islamitische geestelijke.
De Moslimbroederschap, die het Egyptische parlement al controleert, en een goede kans heeft dat hun man president wordt wanneer de Egyptenaren later deze week gaan stemmen, richt nu ook zijn blik op Israël.
De seculiere presidentskandidaat Achmed Shafiq waarschuwde vorige week, dat als zijn tegenstander van de Moslimbroederschap, Mohammed Mursi, de presidentsverkiezingen wint, wat de islamisten onbeperkte macht geeft in Egypte, een conflict met Israël onvermijdelijk zal zijn.
Een prominente Egyptische geestelijke met banden met de Moslimbroederschap vergrootte die angsten vorige week, toen hij in een grote bijeenkomst vertelde, dat als Mursi de verkiezing zou winnen, de Egyptische hoofdstad niet langer Caïro is, maar Jeruzalem.
'De Verenigde Staten van de Arabieren zullen worden hersteld in de handen van die man [Mursi] en zijn aanhangers. De hoofdstad van het [Islamitische] kalifaat zal Jeruzalem zijn, zo Allah wil', zei Safwat Hagazy in een toespraak die werd uitgezonden door de Egyptische Annas TV. 'Ja, of we zullen bidden in Jeruzalem, of we zullen er martelaren worden.'
Mursi en andere functionarissen van de Moslimbroederschap waren aanwezig bij de bijeenkomst.
Hamas, dat is voortgekomen uit de Moslimbroederschap, wil dolgraag dat Mursi in de verkiezingen van zaterdag wint. Een overwinning voor de Moslimbroederschap 'zal Israël zwakker maken en meer geïsoleerd. Israël zal geen vrienden of allianties in deze regio overhouden', zei Hamas-woordvoerder Ghazi Hamad vorige week tegen de Los Angeles Times.
De Egyptische censor heeft een razend populair nieuw lied goedgekeurd met de titel 'Ik houd van Israël', een lied dat in feite precies het tegenovergestelde gevoel voor de Joodse staat opdringt:
"Moge het [Israël] worden vernietigd.
Moge het worden gekoloniseerd.
Moge het van de kaart worden geveegd.
Moge er een muur op vallen.
Moge het verdwijnen uit het universum.

luidt de tekst van de nieuwe hit van zanger Amr El Masry.

Rusland verdedigt bewapenen Syrië - Profetie wordt vervuld
De Russische minister van Buitenlandse Zaken Sergej Lavrov (AFP)Rusland heeft de levering van wapens aan Syrië verdedigd. Minister van Buitenlandse Zaken Lavrov zei dat zijn land met de leverantie geen enkele internationale wet overtreedt.
De Amerikaanse regering verwijt de Russen onder andere de levering van helikopters, waarmee steden worden aangevallen.
Lavrov spreekt de beschuldiging van de Amerikaanse minister Clinton tegen dat Moskou gevechtshelikopters aan de regering-Assad levert. Volgens Lavrov worden geen wapens aan Syrië geleverd waarmee vreedzame demonstranten kunnen worden bestookt. Op zijn beurt verwijt hij de Amerikanen dat die de opstandelingen in Syrië bewapenen.
De Syrische staatstelevisie meldt de herovering van de stad Haffa op de rebellen, na een strijd van acht dagen. Honderden rebellen zouden het gebied vannacht hebben verlaten. De Amerikaanse regering waarschuwde maandag voor een bloedbad in Haffa als de stad op de opstandelingen is heroverd. Over het aantal slachtoffers in het gebied is nog niets bekend.
De Syrische regering spreekt tegen dat het land nu in een burgeroorlog verwikkeld is, zoals de VN het conflict in Syrië inmiddels omschrijft. Syrië zegt dat die bewering niet objectief is en ver buiten de werkelijkheid staat.

Kinderen gebruikt als menselijk schild in Syrië
Dagelijkse taferelen in Gaza. Palestijnse kinderen als schild tussen de islamitische Hamas terroristen. Antisemitische graffiti op Yad Vashem schokken Israëlische bevolking
De muren van het Holocaustmuseum Yad Vashem in Jeruzalem werden maandagnacht beklad met een tiental antisemitische hatelijkheden in het Hebreeuws. Vandalen spoten slogans als “Hitler, bedankt voor de Holocaust” op de buitenmuren van het bekendste memoriaal in het land.
“Mocht Hitler niet hebben bestaan, de zionisten zouden hem uitvinden” en “Zionisten, jullie verklaarden de oorlog aan Hitler uit naam van het Joodse volk, jullie veroorzaakten nu de Holocaust”, zijn maar enkele van de verwerpelijke uitspraken waarmee de muren werden beklad.
Sommige leuzen werden vreemd genoeg ondertekend met “Wereldwijd Zionistisch Judaïsme”. Aangezien de tekst in het Hebreeuws werd geschreven wordt vermoed dat ofwel Israëlische arabieren achter het incident zitten of anti-zionistische Joden (er zijn marginale groepjes sektarische ultra-orthodoxe joden die vreemd genoeg tegen hun eigen Staat zijn), zo blijkt uit verschillende internetfora in Israël, al wil niemand dat officieel bevestigen op dit ogenblik.
“Ik ben geschokt door deze blinde haat tegen Israël en tegen het zionisme”, aldus de voorzitter van Yad Vashem, Avner Shalev, die eraan tovoegde dat met deze verschrikkelijke actie duidelijk een grens werd overschreden.
Gideon Sa’ar, de Israëlische onderwijsminister, uitte zijn verontwaardiging bij het zien van deze wandaden. “Ik ben geschokt door hetgeen we deze maandagmorgen ontdekten”, zei Sa’ar. “Wie er ook achter deze ontwijding en het besmeuren van het Yad Vashem moge zitten deed dit om de bevolking emotioneel te kwetsen, de slogans laten daarover geen enkele twijfel bestaan. Ik hoop dat de Israëlische politie de vandalen snel in de kraag vat en voor de rechtbank brengt.”
