Israel Stops For Holocaust Remembrance Day
Today is Holocaust Remembrance Day in Israel. The day the entire nation pauses to remember the 6 million Jews brutally murdered by Hitler and the Nazis.
On this day at 10am, sirens wail throughout the country for 2 minutes. During those 2 minutes everything comes to a standstill. All traffic stops, people step out of their cars, all business stops, schools, stores...wherever you are, you pause and remember.
In this Video blog we allow you to experience these 2 minutes of silence, along with the rest of Israel.
And let us pray the 6 million didn't die in vain. Let us never forget and let us vow that it will happen never again...
