Israeli government approves 671 new homes in Jerusalem
The Jerusalem District Planning and Building Committee approved on Sunday 671 new housing units in various Jerusalem neighborhoods.
Previous discussions regarding the approval of new Jerusalem housing units were canceled in late December, reportedly at the request of Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu.
324 new housing units will be built in Ramot, and 174 in Ramat Shlomo. In Pisgat Ze'ev, 68 new housing units will be built.
In Jerusalem's Arab neighborhoods, 49 new units will be built in Beit Hanina and 14 in Wadi al-Joz. 24 new housing units will be built in Umm Lisun and Umm Tuba.
In the Jabel Mukaber neighborhood, which is known as a terrorist breeding ground, seven new units will be approved. Four others will be approved in Beit Safafa, three in Sur Baher, and four others in At-Tur.
Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat said, "We have suffered eight difficult years of Obama, who pressured Israel to freeze building. Even though the Jerusalem municipality never froze building in the city, many times we were not given government approval, and sometimes homes were not put on the market because of US pressure.
"I hope that era is over, and that from now on we will continue to build and develop Jerusalem for the good of its residents, Jewish and Arab alike. We must strengthen our sovereignty over Israel's capital and create a unified Jerusalem.

Israel is the Legal Occupant of Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria, Rules the Court of Appeal of Versailles
A groundbreaking ruling that was “forgotten” by the media is now surfacing. Israel’s just presence in Judea and Samaria is coming to light.
This groundbreaking ruling by a French court was given in 2013, but somehow escaped the media’s awareness.
A pro Israel activist has worked to bring this “old news” to light, because of its outmost significance. “I decided to put to work my years of Law Studies in France, and I meticulously analyzed the Court ruling,” Jean-Patrick Grumberg wrote.
The following is an analysis of the dramatic court proceedings and their significance:
In a historical trial, the 3rd Chamber of the Court of Appeal of Versailles declared in 2013 that Israel is the legal occupant of Judea and Samaria.
The Court of Appeal of Versailles ruled that Israel’s presence in Judea and Samaria is unequivocally legal under international law, dismissing a suit brought by the Palestinian Authority (PA) against Jerusalem’s light rail built by French companies Alstom and Veolia.
This is the first time since the establishment of the State of Israel in 1948 that an independent, non-Israeli court has been called upon to examine the legal status of Judea and Samaria under international law, beyond the political claims of the parties.
While the Court’s findings have no effect in international law, they do have the utmost importance, which is to clarify the legal reality.
The Versailles Court of Appeal’s conclusions are resounding: Israel has real rights in Judea and Samaria, its decision to build a light rail in Jerusalem or anything else in the area is legal, and the judges rejected all the arguments presented by the Palestinians.
Neither the PLO nor the Palestinian Authority nor the AFPS appealed to the Supreme Court, and therefore the judgment became final.
This is the first time that a Court has legally destroyed all Palestinian legal claim that Israel’s occupation is illegal.

Rotterdam city hall flies Israeli flag after Jerusalem attack
The Rotterdam city hall building, in the Netherlands.
The Israeli flag was flown from Rotterdam city hall in the Netherlands on Monday evening in a show of solidarity with the Jewish state after a terror attack in Jerusalem killed four IDF soldiers on Sunday.
While the flag was displayed over the municipal building, the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin was lit with the Israeli flag in another demonstration of support from Germany.
Our Comment: Raising flags or lighting buildings will not help. The only right answer to this islamic terror against Jewish people and Israël is: Annex Judea & Samaria, clear and annex Gaza, remove/deport some hateful arabs from Israël.

Tien Stolpersteine gestolen in Rotterdam-Zuid

US Congress Votes to Condemn Obama over UN Vote on Israël
A slap in the face for the treacherous and dying Obama Administration.
Netanyahu to address Congress in 2015
The House passed a resolution on Thursday denouncing the Obama administration’s abstention from a critical United Nations Security Council vote condemning Israeli settlements.
Lawmakers of both parties supported the measure in a 342-80 vote, with four Democrats voting "present." A majority of Democrats, 109, voted for the resolution; 76 Democrats opposed it. All but four Republicans voted for the resolution.
The Obama administration drew criticism from Republicans and Democrats alike last month when it declined to veto a U.N. resolution condemning Israel’s expansion of settlements in Judea and Samaria as 'violation' of international law.
