"When the Lamb (Jesus) opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, “Come out (and see) !” Then I saw a black horse, and its rider had a balance scale in his hand. I heard a voice in the midst of the four living creatures saying: “A quart of wheat will cost you a whole day's wages! Three quarts of barley will cost you a day's wages too.
