Messianic Israeli graphics designer and photographer Eitan Bar is doing what he can to reverse that trend.
Bar's newest website, We Love Israel, features a dynamic wall of portraits of 50 people from around the world who love Israel "because of Jesus." Average people whose support of Israel is based not on politics or ill feelings toward anyone else, but rather on love for their Messiah.
The goal of the website is two-fold: first, it aims to show Christian Zionists for who they really are, and second, Bar hopes to encourage fellow Israelis that there are many out there in the world who love and support them.
"Primarily due to international media coverage, many Israelis believe that the world is against them," reads a statement on the website. "While there are people who hate Israel, there are many Christians who love Israel because of their faith in the New Testament & Tanach as followers of Yeshua the Messiah (Jesus Christ), the most famous and well known Jewish-Israeli personality in the history of the Jewish nation."
Israel Today wrote previously about Bar and an intrepid group of young Messianic creatives in northern Israel who had established an impressive online Hebrew-language evangelism campaign.
