When you see the Holy next to the unholy

Could the Jewish Temple (The Holy) be rebuilt next to the Islamic Dome of the Rock (The unholy)? Could Israel's future Temple and its worshipers peacefully coexist with the Islamic Dome and their worshipers? This would be very politically favorable to world peace. If such a plan was acted upon then the Temple Mount would look something like what we see in the picture up above.

In the End the unholy idol-worship-centers of il-allah (Dome of the Rock & Al Aqsa mosque) on Jerusalem’s Temple Mount will be destroyed, and Ezekiel's Temple will be erected/built for Yeshua Mashiach/Messiah.

Islamists Massacre 50 Students at Nigerian School

Islamist gunmen have stormed a school in northern Nigeria, massacring at least 50 students, in the latest attack by Islamist terrorists in the region.

Molima Idi Mato, a senior administrator at the Yobe State College of Agriculture told The Associated Press that as many as 50 students may have been killed in the attack that began at about 1 a.m. Sunday in rural Gujba. According to reports, gunmen executed many of their victims as they slept in their dormitories, with up to 1,000 other students fleeing into the surrounding countryside to escape.

Northern Nigeria has been wracked by an Islamist insurgency targeting local Christians, security forces and government institutions. Boko Haram is the largest of a number of Islamist factions behind the violence, being waged in pursuit of the establishment of an Islamic state.

This is not the first time Islamists have targeted Nigerian schools, and most schools in the area were closed after terrorists killed 29 pupils and a teacher on July 6, burning some alive in their hostels, at Mamudo outside Damaturu.

Eight Years After Expulsion Gush Katif - Evacuees Inaugurate new Synagogue

Appreciation for the supporters of Israel

by David Ha'ivri

Yesterday at the central Sukkot event in Har Bracha in Shomron, celebrating the dedication of yet another new neighborhood for the community, I had the pleasure of hearing a speech from a bright young man, a 14 year old American boy who has come to Israel with his family as part of a group of Christians who are dedicated to expressing their support for Israel's rights in Judea and Samaria.

I must say from my experience traveling around on behalf of Israel, that such straightforward support for Israel is extraordinary. Unfortunately, even most pro-Israel groups are afraid of appearing not politically correct and lack the courage or understanding needed to support Israel's claim to its own heartland.

I would like to thank Josiah Hilton and the HaYovel group for their commitment to the Jewish people and the land of Israel. May HaShem show you the way and give you the platform to teach the nations love for Israel.

--Speech by Josiah Hilton --

"I would like to say "thank you" to Rabbi Melamed and the community of Har Bracha for allowing us to be here on this very special occasion.

My name is Josiah Hilton, and I’m 14 years old.

I’m here as a part of HaYovel, our group of Christian volunteers that have come from all over the world to volunteer in the vineyards and olive groves of Judea and Samaria.

I first came to Israel with my family when I was 11 years old, during the harvest season of 2010. Even though I was younger, and may not have grasped the entire significance of the volununteer work that we were doing, for me, there was a special connection to be made here. As a Christian, I have heard the stories of the Bible all of my life: about Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and David. When I came here, I realized that this is where the history of the Bible all took place; this is the land of the covenants; this is the heartland of Israel.

Our group of 300 volunteers is here to serve you, the Jewish people and make a statement to the world. We believe that HaShem gave you this land as an everlasting covenant. No matter what international pressure you receive, we will stand with you. We feel that Christians have too long either stood by and been silent, or have helped in the evils that have been done against you. We are here to say "no more!" Today, whatever part we can have to help here in this Land, that is what we want to do!

Thanks to Rabbi Melamed, Gershon Mesika, Nir Lavi, Erez Ben Sa'adon, and many others, we have had the incredible honor to not only witness prophecies that were spoken 2,000 years ago, but to take an active part in their fulfillment! For us, as foreigners, this is truly an amazing privilege and honor. We cannot thank you enough!"

Israeli forces raid Kenya shopping mall to end Islamic terrorist siege

Israeli forces have joined efforts in Kenya to end a deadly siege launched by a Somali militia on a Nairobi mall, a security source said on Sunday.

"The Israelis have just entered the premises and are rescuing the hostages and the wounded," the source said.

At least 59 people have been confirmed dead in the Somali militia attack on a luxury shopping mall in Nairobi, a government minister said on Sunday, while Kenyan troops clashed with gunmen still holding an undetermined number of hostages.

Heavy gunfire was heard. Kenyan security officials said that they were trying to kill or capture the remaining attackers and end the 24 hour bloodbath in the Westgate Mall.

Among the dead were renowned poet and Ghanaian statesman Kofi Awoonor. Al-Qaida inspired al-Shabaab rebels in Somalia said the killing in the Israeli owned property was in retaliation for Kenya's military intervention in Somalia, where African Union troops are fighting Islamists.

Interior Minister Joseph Ole Lenku said 59 people died.

IDF Soldier Killed by Sniper Fire in Hevron

An IDF soldier who was critically wounded in a shooting attack in Hevron Sunday night has died of his wounds, the IDF said.

The IDF soldier who was injured in a shooting attack in Hevron Sunday night has died of his wounds. The soldier was identified as 20 year old Gabriel (Gal) Kobi of Tirat Hacarmel. Funeral arrangements would be announced later Sunday night, the IDF said.

The attack took place in the Avraham Avinu neighborhood near the Machpelah Cave in the city, at about 6:30 PM. A Magen David Adom crew treated the victim, who was struck by bullets in his upper body. He was later taken by helicopter to Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in Jerusalem.

IDF troops were searching for the perpetrator in the area. The army is investigating the possibility that the attack was carried out by a sharpshooter who hid between buildings in an Arab neighborhood next to the Jewish section of the city, and fired in the direction of Jews.

Tens of thousands of people are expected in Hevron this week. Jewish residents of Hevron said that despite the shooting, all activities that had been planned will go on.

Palestinian murders IDF soldier in West Bank

Sergeant Tomer Hazan, 20, an IDF soldier from Bat Yam, was murdered in the West Bank, it has been cleared for publication.

Shin Bet and special police forces raided the home of terrorist Nidal Amar, 42, from Beit Amin and discovered he had murdered Hazan in order to use his body to free his brother, a member of the Tanzim, who has been held in Israel for the past 10 years for involvement in terrorist attacks.

According to the investigation, the Shin Bet received a report about a missing soldier on Friday evening and set up a joint command room together with the IDF. At the same time, the Shin Bet also received a report that the missing soldier had shared a taxi together with Nidal Amar, a resident of Beit Amin, a Palestinian village in the West Bank, to Shaarei Tikva, a town near the village.

Following the report, special army forces raided the Amar family home and arrested Nidal, his brother and additional Palestinian suspects. During questioning, Nidal admitted he persuaded the soldier, who had worked with him in a restaurant in Bat Yam, to travel with him to his home in the village. When the two arrived at the village, Nidal took the soldier to an open field north of the village of Siniria, where he murdered him. He then dumped his body in a well.

Reviving an Ancient Tradition in Judaism's Holiest Place

Temple Institute's Rabbi Chaim Richman explains his group's latest initiative to revive the Temple Mount pilgrimage.

The Jewish festival of Sukkot will soon be getting underway, just a few days after Yom Kippur, capping off the festive Hebrew month of Tishrei.

In ancient Israel, whilst the holy Temples of Jerusalem still stood, a number of other Torah laws and customs were practiced as well, falling out of use following the destruction of the Temples (the first by the Babylonians and the second by the Romans), and the subsequent period of exile and persecution by a succession of foreign empires in the Holy Land.

Now, a group of Jewish activists is pushing for the reinstatement of one such practice, arguing that its performance is actually still incumbent upon Jews - regardless of the lack of a Temple in Jerusalem.

Rabbi Richman, who heads the Temple Institute's International Department, spoke to Arutz Sheva about his group's initiative to restart the "aliyah laregel," or pilgrimage to the Temple Mount, which for thousands of years was practiced by Jews en-masse - many of whom traveled hundreds of miles to do so - on each of the three main festivals of Pesach (Passover), Shavuot and Sukkot.

"Our aim is to connect Jews with the idea of aliya laregel," Rabbi Richman told Arutz Sheva.

"The Temple Mount is so important to the Jewish people - to all people really" as a universal house of prayer and peace, and visiting the Temple Mount is, in Rabbi Richman's words "a life-changing experience." He hastens to add that visits are conducted "strictly according to halacha (Jewish law)."

"The whole concept of the shalosh regalim (three pilgrimage festivals) has the holy Temple at the center of the experience. It is unfortunate that through two thousand years of exile we have become alienated from it - but there is an explicit Torah commandment to be 'seen by God' in the Temple," he says.

Rabbi Richman explains that despite the absence of a Temple, there are still a number of important Torah commandments which apply to the Temple Mount today - including a mitzvah (Torah command) to ascend and "show reverence" to the site - which is Judaism's holiest place.

Kerry criticizes EU’s decision to boycott Israeli entities beyond the Green line

US Secretary of State John Kerry reportedly criticized the European Union’s recent decision to issue new guidelines boycotting Israeli entities in the West Bank, East Jerusalem and the Golan Heights, at a meeting with American Jewish leaders last Thursday at the White House.

Using force and pressure will not help matters, Kerry was reported as saying, saying the new EU guidelines are the sort of move that could nudge away Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Instead, the international community can promote peace by dealing with Israel’s fears for its security, he said.

During the meeting, aimed at looking for support on the US push for a peace agreement between Israel and the Palestinians, Kerry read a prepared speech in which he told the heads of Jewish organizations that peace was a "strategic imperative" and that time was running out.

Kerry , who was accompanied by his special Mideasd envoy Martin Indyk and National Security adviser Susan Rice, updated the Jewish leaders on the resumption of Israel-Palestinian talks and hear their concerns.

Mayor says Jerusalem can't be split

Jerusalem's mayor said Tuesday that any partition of the city as part of a future peace agreement will not work, insisting only a united city could function and thrive.

In a wide-ranging interview with The Associated Press, Nir Barkat said his administration has treated the city's Arab residents honestly and equally.

Israeli and Palestinian negotiators recently resumed peace negotiations after a five-year lull. The Palestinians demand the eastern sector of the city as their future capital and consider any Israeli construction there illegal settlements that hinder the prospect of peace.

Barkat said thoughts of dividing the city should be off the table.

"It will never function, it will never work. It is a bad deal," the former high-tech entrepreneur told AP. "Doing a bad deal is worse than no deal."

Israel captured east Jerusalem, home to key Jewish, Muslim and Christian holy sites, from Jordan in the 1967 Mideast war and annexed the area in a move that has not been recognized internationally. The combined population of east and west — 800,000 — makes Jerusalem Israel's largest city.

Syrian Media Releases List of Potential Targets in Israel

As US President Obama continues to mull his options over a potential military intervention in Syria, Syrian state media is upping the ante, publicizing a list of "targets" that the Syrian military could target with "long-range missiles" in the event of a US-led attack.

Aerial photos of the purported targets were released by state media, including strategic military positions in Israel, Turkey and Cyprus, such as airports and chemical weapons factories.

Syrian officials have repeatedly threatened to target Israel in the event of a western strike.

Specific targets labeled as "legitimate" for Syrian missile strikes included Israel's Dimona nuclear plant, petrochemical production plants in Haifa, Hazor military airbase, the Palmachim, Zala'im and Tzrifin military bases, Kalandia airport, and military and intelligence facilities in Turkey and Cyprus.
